Product description Tetra Pond AlgoFree* effectively eliminates several types of algae. It permanently destroys filamentous algae in your garden pond and combats suspended algae responsible for green water. The effects are reliably visible within a few days. The ingredients in Tetra Pond AlgoFree* destroy the cell wall of the algae. They are then rapidly broken down microbiologically. Due to this process, there may be a temporary formation of foam in your garden pond. In addition to acute algae treatment, this product is particularly useful for preventing algae blooms, especially in spring. Tetra Pond AlgoFree* can also be used to combat algae growth in summer. This product is suitable for garden ponds without harming fish, plants, or microorganisms. To achieve the best possible results, shake Tetra Pond AlgoFree* thoroughly before use and follow the detailed instructions. Thanks to the included measuring cap, Tetra Pond AlgoFree* can be dosed very accurately. Use the measuring cap to add 25 ml per 1,000 l of pond water and distribute the liquid evenly in the water, for example with a stick. Ensure adequate oxygen supply during treatment and do not use a UV clarifier or activated carbon for at least seven days. Additionally, do not perform a water change for about four weeks. In cases of heavy algae growth, a reapplication with half the amount is recommended after two weeks. To achieve clear water more quickly after using Tetra Pond AlgoFree*, Tetra recommends using Tetra Pond CrystalWater about four to five days after the application of Tetra Pond AlgoFree*. The remaining algae can then be more easily removed through the filter or manually, for example with the Tetra Pond algae net. * Use biocidal products with care. Always read the label and product information before use. Instructions for use: Shake well before use. Add 25 ml of Tetra Pond AlgoFree per 1,000 l of pond water.
