RØDE VideoMic NTG premium USB/camera microphone with numerous switching options and functions for video recordings, content creation, voice recordings, podcasting and video calls - VMNTG

The VideoMic NTG is a feature-packed shotgun microphone in broadcast quality, specifically designed for camera mounting. It shares the same revolutionary acoustic design as the NTG5 broadcast shotgun microphone, ensuring unparalleled transparency and a natural, uncolored sound. Add to that an incredibly smooth frequency response, a pronounced supercardioid polar pattern, and extremely low self-noise, and you have a compact camera-mounted microphone that can compete with the best shotgun microphones in the world.

In addition to its excellent sound, the VideoMic NTG is extremely versatile thanks to its wide range of tools and features, helping you tackle any recording situation. With digital switching, you gain access to a high-pass filter, a -20 dB pad, a high-frequency boost, a safety channel, and the unique adjustable gain control, allowing you to perfectly tailor your output to your needs. Its 3.5 mm output automatically detects which device you have plugged in (camera or smartphone) and activates the corresponding adjustment—no more cable clutter from adapter cables!

Additionally, there’s a new handy signal peak warning light, so you can always be sure that your audio signal is not being overdriven or limited. The VideoMic NTG is much more than just a camera-mounted microphone. It is the perfect companion for DSLRs, compact cameras, and smartphones—whether mounted on the camera, used as a boom microphone, or on a separate pistol grip—as well as a fully functional USB microphone that can be plugged into a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Furthermore, the 3.5 mm jack serves as an additional headphone output for seamless monitoring while using the USB output.

The VideoMic NTG is officially MFI certified (Made for iPhone, iPad & iPod). To connect your VideoMic NTG to Lightning-equipped iOS devices, you will need the SC15 or SC19 cable. Please ensure that your VideoMic NTG firmware is up to date to guarantee full compatibility with iOS devices using the SC15 or SC19.
