Tiffen Filter 49GG1 49mm GLIMMERGLASS 1 FILTER

The Tiffen 49 mm Glimmerglass 1 Filter is a beauty filter with a dual function: in addition to altering the appearance itself, it has a sparkling look when viewed from the front, which instills more confidence in the model. The filter helps to soften skin details, blemishes, and wrinkles. It also creates luminous highlights and a mild reduction in contrast for a more ethereal look. Density 1 provides a slight amount of softening and overall image alteration. This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process where the filter substrate is laminated between two pieces of optical glass, ground flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000 inch, and then mounted onto precision metal rings. It produces luminous highlights and a slight reduction in contrast for a more ethereal image. It helps to soften skin details, blemishes, and wrinkles. From the subject's perspective, the filter appears sparkling and helps to build confidence in models, potentially leading to better performance.
