The Manfrotto Befree 2N1 QPL Aluminum Travel Tripod with Ball Head is the ideal solution for photographers who want versatility and maximum performance in one package and are looking for the perfect travel companion. The Befree 2N1 can be transformed into a monopod in just a few steps. One of the tripod legs is equipped with a special locking mechanism. After a half turn counterclockwise, a red rubber ring appears, indicating that the leg can be removed and connected with the also removable center column to form a monopod. Crucially, the locking mechanism is designed so that the leg securely clicks back into place without any play when reattached later. Accidental release when used as a tripod is therefore not possible. The monopod is designed for a load capacity of 9kg.

This model features the QPL (Quick Power Lock) travel quick locks. This is a more compact version of the powerful QPL mechanism already used in the Manfrotto 190 and 055 tripods. The ergonomic selector switch for the leg angles can be easily operated by both right-handed and left-handed users. The tripod shoulder is equipped with an Easy Link connection. The tripod comes with the 494 Aluminum Ball Head, a small but powerful head that allows for quick and precise camera movements. The 494 Ball Head has three independent controls: a main knob to control the ball lock, an independent friction control, and an independent panorama lock. The quick release plate (200PL-PRO) is compatible with Manfrotto RC2 and Arca-Swiss systems.
