The Whey Protein from Mammut is a high-quality whey protein powder designed for making a protein shake. The whey protein included is tailored to meet the basic needs of an athlete. One shake contains 27 g of protein. Protein is an essential building block in the body, making up about 15 - 17% of an adult's body mass. It serves as a building material for muscle gain and maintenance, as well as for the preservation of normal bones. Mammut Whey Protein has a naturally high content of BCAA. Shortly after consuming Mammut Whey Protein, the amino acid level in the blood increases, making it particularly suitable before and after training. A high amino acid content in the blood leads to better muscle supply before or after workouts. The abbreviation BCAA stands for "branched chain amino acids," which include L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine. Amino acids are the building blocks of all proteins and are therefore important for the body. The BCAAs contained in Whey Protein are three of the 8 essential amino acids that must be provided to our body through food, as it cannot produce them on its own.
