It is Green Day's first album since 2009's 21st Century Breakdown to be recorded as a trio after Jason White returned as a touring member in 2016. The album received positive reviews from music critics and sold 95,000 units in its first week in the United States and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. "Dookie" is Green Day's third studio album and the album that catapulted them to worldwide fame. Released on February 1, 1994, "Dookie" includes punk-pop pillows such as "Longview," "Welcome to Paradise," "Basket Case," "She," and "When I Come Around." The album has sold 20 million copies to date and won a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album in 1995.
