Audio-Technica ATH-R50x Professional Over-Ear Reference Headphones with Open Back

The professional open-back reference headphones ATH-R50x from Audio-Technica are designed to provide a natural listening experience with an extensive soundstage, making them ideal for all types of critical listening tasks. The drivers of the headphones are modeled after those of the original ATH-R70x, now revised to deliver surprisingly powerful bass for an open model, as well as a precise upper midrange to ensure clarity of vocals and lead instruments without compromising overall balance. The key to this natural full-spectrum sound is the pure open design of the headphones, which does not color the sound of the drivers. The ATH-R50x headphones are engineered to deliver dynamic, detailed sound with powerful sub-bass and a realistic soundstage directly from the drivers without additional acoustic tuning. The fully open ear cups also provide more comfort than closed-back models – comfort enhanced by the newly designed headband and robust, lightweight construction. Perfect for mixing, mastering, or creating, the ATH-R50x offers precise, reliable reference across stereo, surround, and immersive formats, making it a versatile choice for any professional or home studio.
