It uses real-time weather data and a plant library to analyze how much water plants need. Using this information, the intelligent water computer then adjusts plant and lawn watering schedules. When used with a soil moisture sensor like the smart Sensor, the irrigation control system skips unnecessary watering schedules. This data-driven irrigation scheduling helps make overwatering a thing of the past. *The GARDENA Bluetooth app or the GARDENA smart app is required to use the smart Water Control. We recommend using both apps on a smartphone or tablet with iOS 17/Android 9 or higher.
