The VTech CS1551 2-handset DECT cordless telephone with answering machine features caller blocking and an innovative charging station that allows the user to hang up and charge the handset with the display facing forward or backwards. Charging with the display facing forward allows for easy and direct reading of the display, while charging with the display facing back can be more convenient for placing the phone and maintaining the slim design. You can save 20 calls and see who's calling, each with caller ID and call waiting functionality displayed on the handset with the name, number, time and date of incoming calls. For frequently dialed numbers, you can save up to 60 names and numbers in your phone book so you can dial them more quickly and directly. If you are not available, calls can be recorded using the digital answering machine. The maximum storage time is 15 minutes.
