Product Description Safety for the whole family – stylish and well thought out The hauck Clear Step 2 child safety gate with a 9cm extension provides reliable protection for doors and stairs with a width of 84-89cm. Thanks to the simple clamp attachment, no drilling is required – perfect for parents who want to make their home safe for children, grandparents, or puppies without damaging walls or door frames. Safe passage without tripping The flat bottom rail minimizes the tripping risk for parents, children, and grandparents. Especially at the top of stairs, it provides additional safety. Comfortable one-handed operation The hauck safety gate can be opened and closed in both directions with just one hand – simply slide back the safety latch and lift slightly – ideal when you have your child or laundry basket in your arms. Quick installation without drilling The child safety gate comes with four adjustment screws and self-adhesive wall plates and is securely clamped in the door frame or between walls – all without tools or drill holes. For stair railings with round posts, the separately available hauck Y-spindles are required, which must only be mounted on one side of the gate. Expandable with separate accessories The dog and child safety gate can be widened with a maximum of one additional hauck extension of 9cm/21cm (one on each side). The extensions are calculated based on the base width of the gate, including the already included 9cm extension from 84-89cm.
