Since the shaver is suitable for use in wet areas, it can only be operated wirelessly for safety reasons. Disconnect the shaver from the power supply before using it with water. Keep the power supply unit, charging station, power case, and cleaning station dry. Your shaver is equipped with a charging cable with an integrated power supply for safety low voltage. No parts should be replaced or modified, as this may pose a risk of electric shock. Only use a Braun power supply of type 492. Do not use if the device or any accessory is damaged. The device must not be disassembled or opened! The rechargeable battery of the device may only be replaced by an authorized Braun service center. This device can be used by children aged 8 years and older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge, provided they are supervised or instructed regarding the safe use of the device and understand the resulting dangers. If the device is equipped with a hair cutting attachment, it can be used by children aged 3 years and older under supervision for hair cutting. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children unless they are supervised. Cleaning Station: To avoid leakage of the cleaning fluid, ensure the station is placed securely and horizontally. The station must not be tilted, moved vigorously, or transported in any way while the cartridge is inserted. The station should not be stored in mirrored cabinets or above heaters, nor placed on sensitive (polished or painted) surfaces. The cleaning cartridge contains a flammable liquid, so keep it away from ignition sources. Do not smoke near the station and do not expose it to direct sunlight for extended periods. Keep the cleaning fluid away from your eyes! Do not refill the cleaning cartridge. Only use the original cleaning cartridge from Braun. Before using the cleaning station, the shaver must be dry and free of foam, gel, or soap residues! The cleaning cartridge contains ethanol or isopropanol (details see cartridge), which slowly evaporates after opening. Therefore, a cartridge should be replaced after about 8 weeks if not used daily to ensure optimal cleaning. The used cartridge can be disposed of in household waste or returned to appropriate local collection points. Seal the openings with the cap of the new cartridge, as the used cartridge contains contaminated cleaning fluid.
