One such grass is the tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea). Therefore, this grass mixture is particularly suitable for a dry lawn. \n\n Recommendation: The dry lawn should continue to be watered in the first year after sowing. Before the grass roots can reach deeper soil layers, the grasses need time to establish their roots. This process will take approximately one year.
